Logistics building has been awarded the Grand Prix 2007 SIMI, in the logistics real-estate category.


New agri-food and distribution center

The transfer of the Perrache wholesale market (a former market of national importance) to Corbas has been in effect since January 2009. In addition, Greater Lyon wanted to develop an agri-food and distribution center on 40 ha plot.

  • By late 2008, 122,000 m2 of this extensive development had already been delivered.
  • By late 2009, with a total built surface area of 142,000 m2, the new Agri-Food and Distribution Center of Greater Lyon will be completed.

43,000 m² for the wholesale market

The sales area for the 20 fruit and vegetable wholesalers extends over 35,000 m2 of net floor space.

  • Surface areas for sale between 650 and 4,500 m2,
  • with an average of 1,700 m2 per wholesaler.

The producers’ area (2,600 m2 of net floor space) and the 3,750 m2 area for ripening bananas will be supplemented by a 1,700 m2 warehouse to be delivered in May 2009.


50 000 m² logistics building

This 50,000 m2 logistics building is the largest built within Greater Lyon and is integrated into the agri-food center.

Located just 12 km from downtown, it is currently leased to 2 logistics providers:

  • Transalliance for Nestlé with 32,000 m2 and
  • Logiris for diet foods, on 18,000 m2.

37,000 m² for rent to distributors

The building, intended to meet the needs of distribution companies who are looking for medium-sized surface areas in addition to the wholesale market business, is divided into 9 lots of 3,800 to 4,700 m2. Having received an operating license, it was delivered in April 2008 and is for rent.

As with the logistics hub, the building has:

  • a storage height of around 10 meters,
  • a fire safety,
  • access to the loading dock and the floor.

142,000 m² upon completion

In order to complete the program, there remains to be built at the entrance to the site:

  • a 12,000 m2 transportation building and
  • 3 buildings for various secondary activities of the wholesale market.
