The Big Booster program: the 10 startups selected in Boston for the 2016 final

Big Booster is the first international non-profit acceleration program, organised by the cities of Lyon and Boston, and aimed at startups. It is intended exclusively for those using their innovative know-how in the fields of health, digital, environment and sustainable development.

3 awards decided in April 2016

Over 450 applications last summer, and 72 startups selected for intensive training in October 2015 in Lyon, at the end of which 20 of them were chosen to face the American market (in the USA), from 8 to 12 February 2016.

At the end of this five-day session, 10 finalists were selected: Diabeloop, Echy, Innavirax, MaaT Pharma, Neolys, Diagnostics, Novadiscovery, Smart&Blue, SteadXP, Tilkee and Wair.

Big Booster, what is it?

Launched in April 2015 between the cities of Lyon and Boston (USA), the Big Booster program is part of a close collaboration between the two cities, marked by the recent signature of a declaration of intent.

This system aims to detect, select and support startups with good potential for international development and with cutting-edge innovations in the areas of health, digital and environment.

Facilitating access for startups to decision-makers and developing exchanges of best practice

Big Booster helps startups succeed in their internationalization whan they start, by connecting them to a global networks of industrialists, entrepreneurs, experts and investors in France and further afield.

With Big Booster, the Métropole de Lyon is reinforcing its ambition: that of positioning itself strongly on the development of startups, the drivers of the economy.
