Lyon Part-Dieu: sale of the Oxygène tower in the last quarter of 2012

The Caisse des Dépôts with AEW and the Crédit Agricole and Predica together acquired the Oxygène tower situated in Lyon Part-Dieu in the last quarter of 2012.

The Oxygène tower which has a height of 115 m and about  30,000 m2 of office space has, at present, 90% occupancy.

The are a number of tenants who are already occupying the space:

  • SNCF,
  • Ernst & Young,
  • the Lyon World Trade Centre (which opened in 2012 and is now home to twenty or so international businesses),
  • Axxes (automatic tolls),
  • AFD Technologies (telecoms networks advice),
  • the ONLYLYON showroom for the Lyon conurbation's larger projects.

Unibail has been the owner from the time the building was delivered in June 2010. Since then it has been certified BREEAM Very Good for the way current environmental considerations have influenced its construction. 

This development continues to make Lyon Part-Dieu attractive in terms of property investment and underlines the importance of dense buildings in the area, in particular, close to the station and the multimodal transport hub.
