Foncière des Régions: delivery of an renovated office building in Villeurbanne in January 2013

1 February 2013

  • version française

In Villeurbanne the Patio building has been completely refurbished. It is now a new structure, which offers 12 000 m2 of space at 35-37 rue Louis Guérin. Modernity, practicality and services characterise this building delivered in late January 2013.

The Patio, in the best possible location

Situated in Lyon-Villeurbanne, the Patio building is just a couple of steps from the Tête d'Or Park and just beyond the Lyon Part-Dieu business centre. Served by the best possible urban transport system and an extensive road network, the Patio is connected to the Lyon conurbation's nerve centre.

With its modular, work friendly spaces and its services (shared restaurant for all the businesses and a cafeteria), the building is ideally able to meet the expectations of the most demanding users.

On the outside of the building the facade has been entirely re-designed and is open onto the street which enables the foyer to be double height and therefore very light.

The Patio, the best environmentally

In line with Foncière des Régions' sustainable development strategy, ambitious environmental measures have been put in place:

  • high performing facade with blinds,
  • use of renewable energy,
  • monitoring of consumption,
  • signing of green leases.

The building will be HQE Refurbishment and BREEAM certified as well as BBC-Effinergie Rénovation labelled in the first half of 2013. All plus points which will ensure the success of the Patio which is already wholly let. Among the tenants are Opteven, Yellow Pages and Hankook.
