Lyonbiopôle life sciences (infectious diseases) competitiveness cluster
Lyonbiopôle is a global centre of excellence in vaccination and diagnosis and was accredited as a competitiveness cluster by the government in 2005. Its aim is to carry out research into infectious human and animal diseases on a global scale, from diagnosis and prevention to treatment, using original administration systems.
The purpose of this “integrated” approach is to create a “health defence system” for the benefit of populations worldwide.
