LyonBioAdvisor® is the local network of the Life Sciences in Lyon. *
Created in 2003 on the initiative of Greater Lyon, it brings together organizations that actively serve the needs of companies in the Life Sciences, with complementary skills in the field of economic development and the structuring of major R&D projects.
The objectives of LyonBioAdvisor®
The aim of LyonBioAdvisor® is to make it easier for Life Sciences companies to start up and stay in the Lyon metropolitan area.
The services of LyonBioAdvisor®
The network helps support every stage of development of companies in this sector (from creation / start-up to development) by offering suitable solutions:
- financing,
- international development,
- real-estate solutions,
- pooling of promotional tools at international trade fairs,
- facilitation of exchanges between professionals and experts,
- assistance for scientific and industrial partnerships,
- development of research work,
- intelligence, etc.
Public and private assistance organizations
Designed as a network of public and private assistance organizations,
LyonBioAdvisor® brings together:
- experts in the economic development of the sector and
- the theme networks in Rhône-Alpes,
with the goal of:
- joining forces and fostering the competitiveness of the local area’s players.
The objectives pursued by all the partners of LyonBioAdvisor are to offer to the companies in the sector a customized service that is efficient, proactive and professional, to bring its players together through collective initiatives and to promote local skills.
BioTuesday: a networking event
As LyonBioAdvisor® firmly believes that networking increases the sector’s skills and strengths; it also organizes BioTuesday,
- a networking event
- that brings together the sector’s entrepreneurs and their financial, scientific and clinical partners in the Rhône-Alpes Region, every other month.
BioTuesday was initiated five years ago by Greater Lyon, which is a sponsor, and by all the partners of the network, and it attracts an average of 150 professionals from the Life Sciences - Healthcare sector to each event.
