Lyon's action in the international UCLG network
Lyon and the partner cities are working together to achieve the Millennium goals: improvement of unhealthy living conditions, water management and involvement of women in local political life... At the 1st international congress held in Beijing in 2005, Lyon assumed the chairmanship and presidency of the Decentralised Cooperation Commission of the UCLG.
