Greater Lyon and Sytral went at Brussels (Belgium) for Intermodes congress, the February 6, 2014.
On February 6th, 2014, for the sixth consecutive year, Bussels welcomed the INTERMODES convention, the European meeting on passenger transport dedicated to public transportation intermodality. This event is supported by the Committee of Regions.
On this occasion, the Urban Community of Lyon received the European Intermodes prize, which was awarded for the sustainable mobility policy implemented by Greater Lyon to promote non-motorized travel.
In parallel, Sytral won a special prize for the extension of the T1 tramway, which was marked by the building of the Raymond Barre Bridge between the districts of La Confluence and Gerland.
