Organised by the Foundation of the University of Lyon, the 11th edition of the annual forum will take place on 13 and 14 April 2016.

Joint discussions and decisions

Biovision is an international forum dedicated to life sciences. Over and above planning, the aim of Biovision is to facilitate collaboration between the various players, innovation and, in the long term, accessibility to know-how and solutions for the general public. With its international reach, the forum will once again bring together many prominent figures: researchers, politicians, investors and entrepreneurs, from start-ups to multinationals. These multidisciplinary decision-makers are brainstorming about future progress in life sciences. They will reflect on how to convert discoveries by researchers into concrete and innovative solutions to benefit health.

Conferences and workshops

For the two days of this forum, plenary conferences and workshops are scheduled with the aim of converting scientific progress into practical solutions for citizens. Challenges and opportunities with regard to cancer prevention and the vaccines of the future will be the subject in particular of many discussions, the keynote topic for 2016 being that of prevention in the context of world health.

By welcoming the event on its area, the Métropole de Lyon is reaffirming its position as a powerful international location in the field of life sciences.

4th edition of the Catalyzer and the Investor Conference

Biovision will also host the 4th edition of the Biovision Catalyzer and the Biovision Investor Conference. Intended for innovative project holders and start-ups in the fields of biotech, medtech, environment and health, and e-health, these two shows are intended for those seeking visibility and funding.
