Economic activity reports

cover of the 2008 Greater Lyon economic activity report

Editorial 2008

This year, we have worked tirelessly on behalf of those who are at the core of our concerns... you, the beneficiaries of our actions.

  • Internal beneficiaries: a Land and Property Department (DFI) developing a land strategy for all of Greater Lyon's activities...
  • Internal beneficiaries: a committed Resources and Performance Department (DRP), working for human resources, organising internal logistics, funding and legal advice, etc.
  • Internal and external beneficiaries: an Economic Marketing and Strategy Department (DMSE) working for a voluntary economic policy...
  • External beneficiaries: a Business Services Department (DSE) which works closely with those involved in the local economy - the cornerstone of its activity...

The year 2008 saw the introduction of local developers spread across the Community's entire area. This new strategy, implemented by the DSE, represented the start of a new phase. The department also showed that by working closely with its beneficiaries, it can gain a better understanding of market changes and provide new innovations.
